the locals all stared at me when i walked in, which was encouraging. my first taste of ostrich. a little weird in not a great way, but maybe if it's prepared for its unique flavor and not just made into a burger it'd be better. the root beer float had over a pint of ice cream in it, and i gave in and told the waitress it had won. it was the top of cajun pass.
